Popeyes Raises $1,200 For Norris High School
Popeyes Chicken on 70th and Pioneer was able to help raise $1,200 for Norris High School in Hallam, Nebraska. The Norris High School band was almost entirely wiped out by the tornado that came thorough on May 22nd. The music department lost uniforms, music, instruments and more. When Popeye’s heard about the situation they donated 100 2pc chicken dinners for them to give away at their final concert on May 28th. For every person who donated $10 or more they receive a free 2pc dinner at Popeyes.
At the same time Popeyes Chicken at 722 West ‘O’ St. was donating 600 pieces of chicken to help out through the Red Cross. The next storm came through about a week later and a neighboring roof found its way into Popeyes driveway. But Popeyes was still able to open for business the next day.
At Popeyes, it's all about the community and the food - flavorful, Louisiana-inspired recipes from some of America's most creative and talented chefs.
